Patricia A. Smith

Danville- Patricia A. Smith, 65, of Danville passed away at 2:45 PM on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville. She was born on September 6, 1947 in Danville to John F. Krise and Dorothy Nimrick. She married Larry French, with whom she had two daughters. She later married Vearl Smith who preceded her in death. Surviving are a daughter, Kelly (Rob) Meeker of Brookston, IN; two sisters, Connie (Calvin) Sanders and Donna (David) Kent; a brother, Chuckie Hamilton; special friends; Cathy French and Wanda West; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her husband Vearl, she was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Heather French, a sister and a brother. Patricia enjoyed playing BINGO and especially liked to spend time with friends and family. A service to celebrate the life of Patricia Smith will be held at 2 PM on Friday, August 16, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. Drew Mentzer will officiate. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held from 12-2 PM on Friday, also at Sunset Funeral Home in Danville.
