Patricia A. Shaffer

Patricia A. Shaffer 67, of Danville passed away at 11:53 AM Saturday November 11, 2006 at Provena USMC. She was born May 3, 1939 in Danville the daughter of William and Ida Gritton Branham. Patricia married Joseph Shaffer on January 26, 1969 in Danville, he survives, also one son; Rick (Amelia) Shaffer of Rantoul, five daughters; Tammy (Jim) Caputo of Mahomet, Jeannie (Thomas D.) Watson of Danville, Connie S. Duckworth of Champaign, Pamela Creamer of Paxton, Chris A. Shaffer of Danville, one brother; William (Sue) Branham of Westville, two sisters; Marylou (James) High of Georgetown and Darlene (Roger) Boen of Westville, a special granddaughter; Kaylee Turner who Patricia Raised, 18 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, one brother and a great granddaughter. Patricia worked for several years at G.E. in Danville and also managed at two Burger King Locations in Danville. She attended Immanuel Lutheran Church and loved bowling, painting, ceramics, Illini sports and her animals. Most of all she loved her grandchildren. A celebration of life service for Patricia will be 2:00 pm Wednesday November 15, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Officiating will be Pastor Daniel Fienan. Entombment will be in Sunset Mausoleum. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
