Patricia A. Moody

Danville Patricia A. Moody, 88, of Danville passed away at OSF Medical Center in Danville on November 30, 2019 at 8:59 AM.

Patricia was born on June 5, 1931 the daughter of Harry James and Elsie (Henk) Lambert in Danville, IL. She married Charles Moody on December 31, 1948 and he preceded her in death on February 20, 1992.

Survivors include her three sons; James Moody of Georgetown, IL, Charles Moody, Jr. of Danville, IL and Sidney Moody of Danville, IL, one daughter; Sharon Moody of Catlin, five grandchildren; Todd (Lacey) Moody of Catlin, IL, Jimmy (Tammy) Moody of Catlin, IL, Justin Moody of Danville, IL, Jennifer Moody of Danville, IL and Magdalena Moody of Catlin, eight great-grandchildren; Makalah, Parker, Logan, Rylee, Justin, Jr., John, Sophia and Khloey.

Patricia is preceded in death by her Parents, Husband; Charles, one son; John Thomas Moody, one daughter-in-law; Tonya Sue Moody and one sister; Wilma Mount.

Patricia was a member of Christway Church and was retired from the Catlin IGA where she worked for many years. She enjoyed spending her free time playing Euchre, working on crafts, cooking, tending to her yard and garden as well as collecting salt and pepper shakers. Patricias collection included over 2000 sets of salt and pepper shakers, which she was very proud of. Most of all, Patricia valued family get togethers and spending time which her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St., Danville, Illinois 61834. Doug Knapp will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
