Patricia A. Lomax

Westville, Ill. -- Patricia(Patt)Roberts Lomax, 80, of Westville, Illinois, passed away at 9:57 p.m. CDT Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at her residence. She was born March 25, 1931 in Lafayette, Indiana, the daughter of William Joye and Neva B. Cunningham Davis. She was reared and educated in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Surviving from her marriage to William H. Roberts in June 1951 is a daughter, Bonita Joye(Steve)Dixson of Gonzales, Texas; one son, William H."Buzz"(Betty)Roberts III of Pleasant Gap, Pennsylvania; also surviving is a son, Eric E.(Phyllis)Lomax of Catlin, Illinois; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one nephew, Hank Norris of Decatur, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Bonita Norris. Patt retired in 1993 from Hyster Company (NACCO Material Handling) after 30 years. Prior to that she worked at GE in Danville and Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Sales in Cleveland, Ohio. Per Patt's request cremation was chosen. There will be no visitation. Private graveside services and burial of cremains will be held at a later date at Mount Hope Cemetery in Covington, Indiana. The family request contributions to Provena Hospice, 1400 West Park Street, Urbana, Illinois 61801. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana in charge of arrangements.
