Patricia A Jones

Patricia A. Jones, 76, of Danville, passed away at 4:30am on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Provena USMC in Danville. She was born on January 3, 1935 in Danville, the daughter of Roscoe and Hazel (Nixon) Denney. Both are deceased. On August 27, 1951, Patricia married Eugene Jones in Danville. Survivors include her husband Eugene, of 60 wonderful years, and their six children; Rickie L. (Sherrie) Jones of, Randy Jones, Rockie Jones, Patty King, Tracie (David) Ross, and Vickie (Ronald) Hemp all of Danville. She is also survived by her fourteen grandchildren; Susan Jackson, Shawn Jones, Richard Locke, Scotty Locke, Holly Hemp, Randy E. Bo' Jones II, Robby Jones, Heidi, Jones, Ryan Jones, Harmony Jones, Rally Jones, Rickie Jones, David King, Daniel King, six great-grandchildren; Desirae Jones, Jayden Jones, Brentley Jones, Breckon Jackson, Rheannon Jackson, Zachary Jackson, and three brothers; Clifford (Paulette) Denney of Channahon,IL, George Denney, and Daniel (Carol) Denney, both of AZ. In addition to her parents; her seven brothers; Carl Denney, James Denney, Edward Denney, William Denney, Robert Denney, Joe Denney, Jack Denney, and her four sisters; Elizabeth Denney, Betty DeMoss, Shirley Browning, and Barbara Boyer preceded Patricia in death. She enjoyed being a homemaker where she was able to be at home and raise her children with her husband without the need of a babysitter. She enjoyed working and completing her word searches, reading the newspaper and then cutting out the articles of interest, as well as going shopping. Patricia also enjoyed going for rides in the country, and singing out loud, going to auctions, watching a moving at the drive-in theaters, butterflies, being with her family and enjoying the little things is life. Patricia was a faithful Christian women and raised all her children in Church. She was loved by everyone and will be truly missed by all that knew her. A Celebration of Patricia Jones's Life is scheduled for 11am on Monday, October 17, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Located at 3940 N. Vermilion in Street in Danville with burial to follow at Danville National Cemetery. Visitation for family and Friends will be from 4-6pm on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Patricia's name to the American Heart Association.
