Oakwood- Patricia A Cummings, 70, died peacefully on August 11, 2018 at home with her family by her side in Oakwood, Il, after a brief struggle with cancer. Patricia was born on April 10, 1948, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of George E Miller and Margaret J (Foltz) Miller. She is preceded in death by the father who raised her H. H. Frost. In 1968, Pat married the love of her life Joe Cummings. They were married over 50 years. Patricia is survived by her two sons, Todd Cummings of Danville, Matthew (Patty) Cummings of Danville, two daughters, Nicole (Curtis) Wells of Danville, Amy (Michael) Harris of Huntley, Illinois. 9 grandchildren, Alec, Robert, Brayden, Mya, Kayla, Landon, Kya, Tyler, and Jordan. And 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Jim and Ed Miller. Pat worked at First Midwest Bank in Danville, IL for 30 years. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 56 years. Having always a smile on her face Pat never met a stranger. Her greatest joy was conversing with individuals and rarely met anyone she didn't befriend. She enjoyed spending her time gardening and was an avid Cubs and Illini fan. A private family graveside service will be held for Pat at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 1800 S. State Street Westville, IL 61883.
