Pat 'Patti' Wilson

Pat "Patti" Wilson, 55, of Danville, passed away at 4:20pm, Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at Presence USMC, Danville. She was born on September 24, 1960, in Danville, IL, to Travis L. Sr. and Gladys {Roberts} Wilson. Patti was extraordinary in that she lived well beyond what was supposed to be a life expectancy of only two years and gained a level of great independence. She was well loved by her family and friends. She enjoyed listening to music all day which was usually coming out of her cd player tucked into her fanny pack and danced when she could. Patti always loved to look through family pictures. She attended Crosspoint every day where she participated in their program. She loved to participate in the Special Olympics. Helping at Schultz House where she lived made her very happy. Patti loved her family very much and they will miss her dearly. She is survived by: her mother, Gladys Wilson of Westville; her sister, Teresa (Robert) Cessna of Westville; her brother, Travis L. (Beth) Wilson Jr. of Arthur, IL; her nieces & nephews, Lauren (Amanda) Luca, Jerrod Jennings, Emily Cessna, Marcus Wilson, & Timothy Wilson; and her many friends she made through the years. Her father preceded her in death. A celebration of Patti's life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, October 3, 2015, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, Westville, with Pastor Drew Mentzer officiating. Visitation will be held 9am-11am on Saturday prior to her funeral service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Sandusky Cemetery. Memorial donations may be given in Patti's name to Westville School District #2 Special Education Program.
