Pansy attended Perrysville Indiana High School and was a member of Community Church of God in Danville, IL since 1955. She worked at Peterson Filling (KIK) for 38 years. Pansy was a person of dedication. Pansy and Wayne started their lifes journey in Michigan, where they enjoyed fishing on Lake Michigan. They settled back in Danville, IL with their two children where they loved their church, gospel music, rooting for the Chicago Cubs and auctions. It was quite a love story and they actually met through their Christian parents. Pansy was proud to be a "PK", a preachers kid. She would smile and laugh about that.
Pansy had a big heart and small but strong hands. She could cook, do gardening, canning, chores and work all night in a factory. Pansy did not have a selfish bone in her body. She loved her family and Christmas time and family get-togethers. She took vacation time to plan the Christmas decorating, shopping, cooking, and baking. Everybody went home with lots of goodies, including her famous banana bread. She will be so missed. Mamas heart and hands were very special and now they are with Jesus. Amen! She enjoyed baking for the church and neighbors. Pansy will sadly miss her roommate, Anna Janosik. Pansy family sends blessings to friend, Anna, and her family.
