Pamela Sue Kelly

Danville Pamela Sue Kelly, 57, of Danville passed away at her home at 4:28 PM on August 26, 2020 after a lengthy battle with health issues since childhood.

Pamela was born on September 18, 1962 the daughter of Robert F. and Lois A. (Jackson) Knapp in Sioux Falls, SD.

Survivors include her parents, Robert and Lois Knapp of Danville, IL, and one sister, Elizabeth (Brian) Howland of Bloomington, IL as well numerous cousins and extended family.

Pamela is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents as well as one brother, Patrick Allan Knapp.

Pamela was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and worked as an Optician as various Optometrist Offices over the years. She enjoyed spending her free time traveling, especially to Europe. She was quite the world traveler, having visited England, Switzerland, Italy, Stockholm and most recently, at trip to Los Angeles, CA. Pamela also enjoyed gardening, particularly her beautiful flowers, tending to her cats and cooking.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St Wilfrid Catholic Church in Woonsocket, SD. Burial will be in St Wilfrid Cemetery Woonsocket, SD. Father Kevin Doyle will officiate. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.
