Pamela Kay Hoskins

Pamela Kay Hoskins, 63, of Georgetown, passed away early in the morning on Saturday, July 30, 2022, in Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, with her three daughters by her side. She was born on June 17, 1959, to Creed and Shirley {Carter} Bartley. She was united in marriage to Wallace Wally Jay Hoskins on April 9, 1988, at Presbyterian Church in Georgetown. Pam was preceded in death by numerous special loved ones, but most importantly the love her life, Wally, in 2015; her infant son, Zachariah Hoskins; and her dear friend, Janice Brady. Pam was always the life of the party and anyone who knew her loved her. She loved spending time with her family whether it was just at random cookouts or holidays where she loved being surrounded by them. Pam also enjoyed watching the Fighting Illini basketball team and was the true definition of "I bleed Orange and Blue!". Pam leaves behind her mother, Shirley Bartley; her daughters, Tammy Wilson, Erica Hoskins, and Hayley Hoskins; her seven grandchildren, Makenzie Wilson, Samuel Jefferson, Jaydon Jefferson, Kendall Jefferson, Jocelyn Wilson, Addison Miller, & Emberlyn Vice; and 10 great grandchildren; her sister, Susan Atwood; her "sons-in-law", Gamal Clark and Scott Vice; as well as her cousins, Rhonda Crawley, Cindy Doggett, Laurie Vice, and Nancy Pearson, who were like sisters to her; and her favorite aunt, Maxine Morrison. A celebration of Pams life will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, August 7, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846. Visitation will be 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Sunday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Indianola. The family asks that everyone where their favorite Illini attire to honor Pam because thats what she would want. Memorial donations may be given in her name to donors choice of charity.
