Pamela Johnson, 61, of Covington, passed away at The Waters of Covington, on Thursday, April 16, 2009, at 11:40 a.m. Pamela was born on February 2, 1948, the daughter of Jack and Phyllis (Hubbard) Meece. They survive. Also surviving are one son, Nathan Johnson of Guam; one daughter, Amy (Darin) Streuer of Covington, IN; one brother, Terry (Monica) Meece of Tennessee; one sister, Debbie (Dave) Wortman of Tennessee; one granddaughter, Addison Streuer; one grandson, Ethan Streuer, both of Covington; and three nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by one niece and her maternal and paternal grandparents. Pamela obtained a Bachelors of Education Degree. She was a teacher in the Georgetown School District. Pamela loved reading and spending time with her family and friends. She loved attending church and spending time with her many church friends. Pamela especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. A celebration of Pamelas life will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. EST at Sunsets Covington Chapel. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. EST at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
