Pamela Fawn Jameson, born on July 21, 1948, in Morris, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home in Tilton, Illinois, on July 2, 2025 surrounded by her family. She is the daughter of Orville Decker and Marian Cooprider

Pam dedicated many years of her career to McLane Midwest, where she worked diligently and with commitment until her retirement. In 1989, Pam met Jim, the love of her life and their journey together was filled with shared passions and joyful memories. They were married on April 11, 1996, and enjoyed 36 wonderful years together before Jim’s passing in November. Their love story remains a testament to the strength of their bond and the happiness they created together.

Pam had a variety of hobbies that she cherished. She found joy in fishing with Jim, mushroom hunting, shopping, and caring for her beautiful flowers outside.

Pam is survived by her children Mark (Kim) Sells and their children Cheyenne, LaKota, Abbie, and Johnathon; Heather Ledesma and her children Isabella, Hannah, and Julian; Shannon Trosper and her children Destini and Brooke; Ryan Trosper and his son Dempsey; and Michael (Dee) Jameson and their children Mackenzie, Ashley, Seth, and Grayson. She also leaves behind 12 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; siblings Robin (Jack) Shouse, Valarie Frazier (Paul), and Melanie (Mike) Dillavou; several nieces and nephews; and her special friends Kathy Showers and Joyce Honn. As a wonderful mother, loving wife, and treasured friend, Pamela's presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her husband Jim, Pam was preceded in death by her parents Orville Decker and Marian Cooprider, and her siblings Paul Hempen, Cary Decker, Orvetta (Brian) Shelley, and Melody Douglass.

A funeral service celebrating Pam’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center’s Urbas Chapel, located at 414 S State St, Westville, IL, 61883. Pastor Gary Milton from the Central Park Church of Christ in Tilton will officiate. She will be placed to rest next to Jim at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville at a later date.
