INDIANOLA " Orville Henry Trede, 72, of Indianola, passed away at 3:57 am on June 30th, 2005, at VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville. He was born on January 31st, 1933, in Steelville, IL, the son of Hermann and Esther {Fricke} Trede. He married Shirley Baldwin on April 17, 1971. She survives. Also surviving: one daughter, Tina (Tim) Moorehead of Batavia, IL; one stepdaughter, Vicki (Ray) High of Indianola; one stepson, John (Pam) Baldwin of Greenville, S.C.; three sisters, Viola Rapp of Hazelwood, MO, Laverne Ebers of Charleston, IL, and Margaret Corse of Marion, IL; one sister-in-law, Mildred Trede of Grafton, WI; two grandchildren, Lucas and Daniel Moorehead both of Batavia; five step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eldred Trede. Orville was a plasterer and did plaster work at Southern Illinois University. He also worked at Quaker Oats for six years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955, serving in the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion in Steelville, IL, a past member of the D.A.V., also a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Danville and was a past member of the Indianola Lions Club. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed bowling and loved the Cubs.
