Orman 'Lee' Heafner

Orman Lee Heafner, 51, of Muncie, IN, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2009, at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, IN, at 7:47 p.m. Lee was born March 20, 1958, in Joliet, Illinois, the son of Orman Lee Heafner and Dora Ellen Heck. Surviving are his mother, Dora (Dan) Wilson; fianc(c)e, Kathy Wardlow; one son, Orman Lee (Tina) Heafner;, one daughter, Stacey Anne (Aaron) Burt; two step-daughters, Elisha (Charlie) Lyons, and Stacey Lynn (Justin) Ray; two brothers, Bryan (Lori) Hendrex and Duane Hendrex; two sisters, Tina Hendrex and Terry Champion; grandchildren, Agelica, Katelynn, Emalee, Alexia, Kirsten, Kameryn, Taylor, Braden, Mat, Alex, Gavin and Zane; and several nephews and one niece. He was preceded in death by his father, Orman Lee Heafner; a very dear grandmother, Alpha Heck; grandfather, Arthur Heck; and brother-in-law, Gerald Champion; and a very special father-in-law, Frank Haase. Lee was a computer technician for Express Electronics, Inc. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, bowling, boating, rummaging and treasured his poker night with his friends. He loved working on computers and gardening. His favorite hobby was spending time with his family. A celebration of Lees life will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. EST at Sunsets Covington Chapel, 420 3rd Street, Covington. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2009, at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
