Orian Martin

Orian "Mimi" Martin passed away April 21, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born in Negaunee, Michigan. She was married first to Robert S. Barnes, with whom she had three children, Eileen (Bill) Dunavan, Maureen (Larry) White and Kathleen Barnes. She was also preceded in death by her second husband, Vernon Martin. Two other children she leaves behind are Courtney (Matt) Ringstrom and Joshua Barnes, who she lovingly raised as her own. She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mimi was a homemaker and loved her cats dearly. Her biggest accomplishment was caring for and helping raise the children in the family. Per her request she was cremated with no public service.
