Danville - Omar Arturo Roman, 26, of Danville, IL passed away at 7:38 pm on September 4, 2017 in Danville, IL. Omar was born on September 28, 1990 the son of Arturo Roman and Susana Portugal in Chicago, IL. Survivors include his mother, Susana Portugal of Danville, IL, his father, Arturo Roman of Chicago, IL, one son, Esai Roman of Texas, two brothers, Christian Torres and Isaac Portugal both of Danville, IL, two sisters, Itzel (Alexander) Hernandez and Miriam (Jesus) Rodriguez both of Danville, IL, one nephew, Aiden, as well as a nephew soon to be born and four cousins, David Portugal, Johnathan Portugal, Ruben Portugal and Yasmin Portugal all of Danville, IL. Omar loved spending time with his family, especially his nephew, Aiden and enjoyed video gaming and hanging out with his friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion Street, Danville, IL. Raul Trujillo will officiate. Visitation will be held from 3:00 - 5:00 pm on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at the funeral home.
