Ollie I. Hoskins

Ollie I. Hoskins, 89, of Georgetown, passed away at 3:03pm, Monday, December 30, 2019, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville. She was born on March 29, 1930, in Spice Valley Township, Indiana, the daughter of Raymond and Elizabeth {Craig} Sears, both deceased. She was married to Bob Hoskins in May 15, 1954 until his passing on December 19, 2002.

Ollie will be missed by: her children, Delbert (Helen) Hansbrough of Westville, Bob (Tammy) Neal of Catlin, Terry Hoskins of Georgetown, Alan (Annette) Hoskins of Georgetown, Elizabeth White of Cayuga, IN, Sherri Hicks of Danville, and Robin (Doug) Thoma of Georgetown; her sister, Marie Bailey of Florida; her 23 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Katherine Morgan, Bertha Graves, and Mary Neal; her daughter, Linda Williams; her grandson, Tracy Green; and her granddaughter, Elicia Forbes.

Ollie worked at General Electric for 24 years and also had worked for General Motors for a time. She was a loving mother and cherished her family. She enjoyed being with her family and especially loved watching her grandchildren grow up. She will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

A celebration of Ollies life will be held at 11:00am, Friday, January 3, 2020, Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846. Visitation will begin at 10:00am to 11:00pm on Friday prior to her service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Oakwood, IL.
