Wilma C. (Moretto) Cole

     Wilma C. Cole, 84, of Westville, passed away at 7:41pm, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born on January 15, 1937, in Danville, IL, the daughter of James and Helen (Karushis) Moretto. She was united in marriage to Richard Lee Cole on August 8, 1959, until is passing on November 16, 2008. 
     She will be dearly missed by her son, Jim Cole of Westville; daughter, Denise Cole of Westville; grandchildren, Jennifer (Kirk) Edwards, Derek (Janet) Weaver, Aaron (Amanda) Holt, Shayne Cole; great grandchildren, Rylee Edwards, Maddisson Edwards, London Edwards, Amerilyn Cole, Crystal (Jeremy) Cruz, Jonny (Alicia) Sanderson, Miranda Sanderson, Hayden Kessinger and Ethan Wholeben; brother, Ed Moretto. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Wanda Mcdowell. 
     Wilma was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Westville. She worked for VA Illiana Health Care System for almost 40 years before retiring. Wilma enjoyed getting to spend time with her family and being able to watch all her grandchildren and great grandchildren in their sports activities. 
     A Celebration of Wilma’s life will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 231 N. State St, Westville. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois, 414 S. State St. Westville, Illinois, 61883, with a Catholic Rosary at 3:30pm. She will be laid to rest in St. Peter and Paul’s Cemetery in Westville.
