Thomas Crippin Jr

Thomas Crippin Jr, 66, of Westville, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. He was born on March 1, 1956, in Danville, IL, the son of Thomas and Marilyn “Jackie” (Thomas) Crippin. 

He will be dearly missed by his two daughters; Lydia (Jason) Mitchell and Patty Crippin; his love, Becky Mireles and her children, Kyla (Justin) Shaw, Cheri (Pedro) Ocampo, and Kari (Mike) Cunningham; grandchildren, Samantha, David, Lainey, James, Logan, Kursten, Mareli, Mateo, Tymperance, Dallas, and two Great grandchildren; siblings, Terry (Sandy), Vickie, Ricky, and Judy. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Randy Crippin; nephew, Josh Crippin.

Tom enjoyed spending time with his family, going up north on fishing trips, working outside, and helping others with anything. He loved being a truck driver and getting to travel.

Visitation will be held from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to his celebration at the funeral home. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, IL, 414 S. State St. Westville, Illinois 61883. With Pastor Kevin Cox officiating the service. Tom will be laid to rest in Allhands Cemetery.  Memorial donation may be made in his honor to the Vermilion County Humane Society.
