Terry Williams

Terry Ivan Williams, 71, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Watseka Iroquois Memorial Hospital. He was born on February 21, 1950 the son of Edith (Lee) and Russell Williams in Danville, IL.

Terry is survived by his wife, Jacci Jones Williams; siblings, Sherry (Larry) Johnston and Tom (Sandy) Williams; sister-in-law, Joyce Williams; son, Matt (Valerie) Williams; five stepchildren, Jamie (Corey) Rice, Jenny Bloomfield, James (Lacey) Bloomfield, John Jones, and TJ Farney; 18 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Williams.

Terry graduated from East Lynn High School and attended Illinois Business College. He retired from Thyssenkrupp after working there for many years. He was an avid Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, and Illini fan and enjoyed mushroom hunting, riding motorcycles, and the occasional good cigar. Most of all Terry loved spending time with family and good friends. He was a loving and kind man and spent the last years of his life surrounded by grandchildren; they were his world. His grandson Kyle was his protector, he always took care of his grandpa. Terry will be missed dearly by so many friends and family.

Per Terry’s wishes he will be cremated. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 has been entrusted with arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Terry.
