Terry England

     Terry England, 73, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Georgetown, passed away at 11:55am, Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Community Hospital North, Indianapolis, IN.  He was born in Danville, IL, on December 25, 1946, the son of Louie and Betty {Barnvofsky} England.  He married Wanda J. {Boyer} England on February 23, 1965; she survives.  He later married Janice Duncan until her passing on September 23, 2019.

     Terry is survived by:  his children, Shelley (David) Alpers of Danville, Russell (Cindy) England of Ambia, IN, Richard (Marcy) England of Oakwood, & Mishelle (Chad) McGraw of Danville; his sister, Beverly (Terry) Reed of Sidell; his grandchildren, Jessica Alpers, Jordan Alpers, Dakota (Tori) England, Evan England, Tyler England, Tessa England, Jakob England, Dalton McGraw, & Dillon McGraw; and his great grandchildren, Wrangler England & Colt England.  He was preceded in death by:  his parents; his wife, Janice; and his sister, Sandra Kay England.

     Terry was a proud Veteran of the US Army.  He worked at General Motors for many years as a millwright.  He loved going fishing, watching the Cubs, and using his Ham Radio.  He also enjoyed Blue Grass music and old westerns, especially with John Wayne.  Terry also enjoyed going hunting with his coon-dogs.  He was extremely happy to see the Cubs win the World Series.  When he could, he loved to build things, woodworking, and working on cars.  Terry was known to never meet a stranger.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

     Due to current health restrictions, a private family visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846 with Pastor James Blue officiating.  A graveside service will be held at Georgetown Cemetery at 12:30pm, Monday, May 18, 2020, family and friends are welcome (with 6-feet social distancing rules to be observed between attendees or you may choose to stay in your vehicle).  Memorial donations may be given in his name to American Kidney Association.  Please join his family in sharing memories and stories as well as Send Hugs through his Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
