Sherry Dieu Obituary

Sherry Dieu, 76, of Paris, IL, passed away on April 12, 2024 at Twin Lakes Rehab and Healthcare Center.

 She is survived by her sister Gina Noerenberg, brother Randy (Patricia) Ford, Daughter Linda (Donald) Clarey, son Robert (Donna) Dieu, grandsons Ryan (Erin) Wells, and Blake (Sarah) Wells, great-grandchildren Thomas, Alyssa, Taylor, and Gavin Wells, and many other family members and special friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Shantel Wells, her true love Harold Dieu, sons Danny and Billy Dieu, Nephew Thomas Allhands, and her great-grandson Carson Wells. Sherry was born on July 6 1947 in Danville, IL. The daughter of Dorthy May (Hill) Ford, and Earl Ford Jr. Sherry was a store manager at Colonial Pantry where she earned several awards for the store. She also enjoyed crafting and owned and operated a shop that was located in Oakwood. She spent the last of her working years caregiving for several ladies that she held dear to her heart. Sherry enjoyed camping, fishing, mushroom hunting, and country music singer Alan Jackson. Her favorite local artist was Hoosier Daddy. She enjoyed her family get togethers and keeping up with her great grandchildren's special events and sports. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Twin Lakes Rehab and Healthcare Center, Saber Cox, and long time friend Brenda Henderson.

 A memorial service will be held at Muncie Baptist Church, Muncie, IL on Sunday, April 21st at 4:00 pm, with a visitation time starting at 3:00 pm. The family has entrusted Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois with arrangements.
