Russell Nolen Obituary

     Russell Warren Nolen, 63, of Danville, passed away at 8:11pm, Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Accolade Healthcare of Danville.  He was born on April 2, 1959, in Clinton, Indiana, the son of Warren and Betty {Robertson} Nolen.
     Russell is survived by his sisters, Donna (Lew) Carpenter & Sue (Raymond) Bollaert; his brothers, Raymond Nolen, Steve (Dora) Nolen, Wayne (Diane) Campbell, & Mike (Lou) Campbell; his several nieces & nephews; and his best friends, Donnie Saseen & Orie Dillon.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
     Russell lived in Las Vegas for 20 years working in Jerrys Nugget.  He loved listening to 70’s Rock music, WWE wrestling, as well as riding his bike, and was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
     A celebration of Russell’s life will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, April 7, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883.  Visitation will be held 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Thursday prior to his service at the funeral home.  He will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, Danville.  Memorial donations may be given in his name to donor’s choice of charity.  Please join his family in sharing memories through his Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
