Robert A Miller

Robert A. Miller, 75, of Westville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at his home.

He was born July 30, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Daniel and Frances (Maire) Miller.

Robert married Patricia Mathes on December 22, 1973, in Danville, Illinois, and she survives.

Also surviving are two sons: Peter (Rebekah) Miller and Robert Daniel Miller; two grandchildren: Lincoln Miller and Grant Miller; and one sister Carolyn McCarty.

Robert was preceded in death by one sister: Shirley Lyons and two brothers: Ronnie Miller and Daniel Miller.

After high school he went on to serve his nation faithfully and honorably in the United States Airforce. Robert then went on to complete his biblical studies and seminary at Tennessee Temple University. Later, Robert worked for several factories in the area as a forklift driver. Robert could often be found at his favorite fishing spots, studying the Bible and sharing his love of the Lord through the gospel.

A Celebration of Life for Robert will be held at 10AM Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel 414 S. State Street Westville, IL., with Pastor Gary Froman officiating. Burial will follow at a later date at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 5PM-7PM at the funeral home in Westville.

Memorials in Robert’s name may be made to the Sovereign Grace Fellowship with envelopes available at the funeral home.
