Reva Omahen Obituary

Reva S. Omahen, 92, formerly of Danville, Illinois, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at her daughter's home in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

Reva was born October 17, 1929 in Westville, Illinois, to Germaine and Manuel Calin. She had a brother and two sisters, all of whom preceded her in death.

Reva married Stanley Omahen in May of 1951. Stanley preceded her in death in 1989. Reva's son Jerry also preceded her in death, passing away in 2021.

Reva was an avid birdwatcher, loved reading, music, dancing and the St. Louis Cardinals. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her pride and joy and always the focus of her affection and generosity.

Reva spent the last 10-years of her life in Colorado making new friends and surrounded by her loving family.

Reva is survived by her daughter Cathy (Mark) Koebrich, daughter in law Cathie Schroeder Omahen, six grandchildren, Nicole (Jamie) Johansson, Ben Koebrich, Andrew (Jennifer) Omahen, Amy (David) Pope, Abby (Ryan) Hansgen, and Ali (Josh) Hetzel. She also is survived by 11 great grandchildren. She will be forever loved and missed.

Reva will be laid to rest next to Stanley in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Fond memories, photos and videos may be shared with her family on her tribute wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
