Peter E. Magdos

Peter E. Magdos, 80, of Danville passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021. He was born in Hammond, IN on November 13, 1940, the son of Emil and Rose Magdos.

Peter is survived by his wife, Pamela Magdos; sons, Peter Dino (Debra) Magdos, Michael Gino (Phyllis) Magdos; daughter, Sandra Dena (Steve) Newell; stepchildren, Jason Scott Woolsey, Brandy Louise (Daniel) First; seventeen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Robert) Roberts and Bonnie (Garry) Watsko.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Rose Magdos and brother, Ronald Magdos.

Peter graduated from the University of Illinois prior to becoming a police officer.  He retired from the Calumet Police Department in 1991. Peter loved landscaping and spending time outside. He enjoyed meeting movie stars, listening to music, and watching his favorite sports teams, Including the Cubs, Bears, and the University of Tennessee’s girls’ basketball.
