Naomi "Tiny" Stitt Obituary

Naomi "Tiny" Stitt, 80, of Westville, passed away at 10:11am, Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville. She was born on October 20, 1940, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Milford and Pauline {Marriage} Clark. She was united in marriage to James Stitt on January 2, 1964. He will miss her dearly.
She will also be missed by her daughters, Penny (Travis) Shepherd, Cheryl Hyche, Lauretta (Ken) Purifoy; and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Kenneth Stitt.
Naomi worked for General Electric for many years and later worked for Schultz Nursery. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and flowers. She also enjoyed cooking and was well known for her sugar cookies and apple slice. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
As per her wishes, Naomi will be accorded cremation rites and no services will be held at this time. Her family was assisted by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E.
