Nancy Vaughn Obituary

Nancy J. Vaughn, 79, Lafayette, IN formally of Danville, IL, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. She was born in Danville, IL on August 22, 1942, the daughter of Robert and La Vaughn Stuebe. On July 8, 1971, Nancy married Ronald A. Vaughn and they spent 20 wonderful years together until his passing on December 17, 1991.

Nancy is survived by her stepson Erik (Chris) Vaughn; stepdaughter, Lindy (Brian) Vecco; step grandchildren, Nick (Adrienne) Vecco, Erika (Phil) Sudlow, Jill (Chris) Soyez, Gina Vecco, Sara Vaughn, Peter (Sarah) Vaughn, Benjamin Vaughn and twelve great grandchildren. She will also be sorely missed by her closest cousins Tony and Phyllis Vecellio and Traci and Roy Amos.

She enjoyed spending time with her multiple cousins, family, friends, and pets. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Nancy attended Danville High School and worked in the accounting department at Walgreens from August 8, 1971, until she retired in 1990.
