Martin Spaid

              Martin Spaid, 49, of Danville passed away at home on November 21, 2021. Martin was born on August 9, 1972 in Danville a son of Donna and Russell Spaid, Sr. His father preceded him in death. Also preceding Martin in death was his sister Carolyn K. Spaid- Watson.

            Martin is survived by his mother; his brother Russell Spaid and his fiance Shanna Barnett; his sons Marcus Landers and Cameron Dillon; as well as three grandchildren. Survivors also include his aunt Jeannie Snyder as well as Josie, Johnathan, Joseph, and Jennifer Spaid. Half brothers and sisters.

            Martin enjoyed being around people. He was an animal lover. No matter how upset he would get or make others, at the end of the day he would give the shirt off his back to anyone.

            A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center located at 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Per Martin’s wishes, cremation will follow services.
