Marlene Dunagan Obituary

     Marlene Dunagan, 84, of Terre Haute, Indiana, formerly of Westville, passed away at 7:15pm, Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Franciscan Health, Indianapolis, IN.  She was born on August 6, 1937, in Westville, IL, the daughter of Freeman and Angeline {Hycz} Erven, both deceased.
     Marlene leaves behind her children, Joe Dunagan of Danville and Debra Erven of Terre Haute, IN; and her grandchildren, Kayla Dunagan & Michael Dunagan.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Dorothy Erven.
     Marlene was known to love quilting, sewing, baking, and cooking.  She also liked to be outside in her garden, as well as reading.  She also enjoyed watching NCIS on TV.  Marlene also was a sports fanatic who enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals.  Marlene’s grandchildren were her world and loved to spend as much time with them as she could.  She will be dearly remembered by all those who loved her.
     A visitation will be held 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883.  As per her wishes, she will be accorded cremation rites following services.  Memorial donations may be given in her name to donor’s choice of charity.  Please join her family in sharing memories through her Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
