Linda Gale (Conley) Kunkle

Linda Gale Kunkle, 77, of Perrysville, Indiana, passed away at her son’s home in Ecru, MS, on Wednesday April 10, 2024.  Linda was born on March 6, 1947, in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond and Garnet (Fultz) Conley, she was raised in the small town of Muncie, Illinois, and graduated from Oakwood High School in 1965.

Linda leaves behind her son Chad (Rhonda) Payne of MS, her grandchildren; Devin (Brittini) Forman, Dustin (Elizabeth) Cox, Zach (Abby) Rock and Tiffany McCune, her nine great grandchildren and two nieces and one nephew.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Donald Kunkle, her son Todd Payne, one brother Gene Conley, and one sister Sharon Carnary.

Linda worked for many years at Teepak in Danville where she retired from. One thing Linda loved the most was her husband Donald and living on the farm together. Linda was known for the hats that she wore, and her laugh that was contagious. She always remembered everyone’s birthday and would send out birthday wishes to them every year.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2024, from 12-2 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 East West Street. Service will be at 2 on Wednesday.
