Jerry Inman

Jerry “Howdy” Inman, age 60, of Perrysville, Indiana passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on November  4th, 2023.  Jerry was born on June 18, 1963 in Danville, Illinois. He was the son of Mearle and Patricia “Patty” Inman.

He was a truck driver for over 30 years. He married Cindy Abney on October 10th, 2009. She survives. In addition to his wife, also surviving are his children Justin Inman and Alisa Abney (Gretchen) Bonine; grandchildren Keisha Inman and Hayden Quinn; and his father Mearle Inman. He is also survived by his siblings Ronald E. (Debbie) Inman of Marshfield, IN, Alan (Melinda Corwin) Inman of Tangier, IN, and Curtis Dowers of Marshall, IL, Robin Hann of West Lafayette, IN, and Rhonda (Leslie) Howard of Frankfurt, IN and several nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother Patty Inman and infant sister Connie Jo Inman.

Jerry’s family would like to extend a thank you to Promedica Hospice and a special thank you to Melinda Corwin for her devotion to Jerry in his final days.

A visitation will be held in Jerry’s honor on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home’s Covington Chapel, located at 420 3rd Street in Covington, Indiana. A funeral service celebrating his life will take place on Thursday, November 9th, 2023 at 11:00 am, also at Sunset’s Covington Chapel.
