Jeffery S. Clem

Jeffery “Jeff” S. Clem, 58, of Catlin, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was born in Danville on December 16, 1962 the son of Albert and Thresa Clem. Jeff married the love of his life Tara Jones and they spent many wonderful years together.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Tara Clem; daughters, Melinda (Chuck Brady) Clem, Elizabeth (Chris) Sollers; grandchildren, Willie Taylor III, Zakai Clem, Brody Peeler; brothers, Greg Clem, Doug (Shelly) Clem, Chip (Goldie) Martin; sisters, Debbie (Chuck) Cook, Lori (Steve) Clem; several nieces and nephews and many good friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Albert and Thresa Clem.

Jeff graduated from Danville High School class of 1981. He worked for Shick School and Office Supply for 22 years and the Danville Public Building Commission for 10 years. He enjoyed playing softball and golf while physically able. He loved spending time with friends and family and he truly adored his grandchildren. He was a member of Second Church of Christ in Danville.

A Celebration of Jeff’s life will take place at 11am on Saturday February 13, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 with Louis “Bud” Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9am to 11am at the funeral home.
