Janice Duncan-England Obituary

     Janice Duncan-England, 72, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019.  She was born in Danville, IL January 14, 1947, to the late Wayne and June Duncan of Georgetown where she grew up.

     She graduated from Georgetown High School in 1965 and attended Danville Junior College and the University of Illinois.  She spent most of her life in California where she worked in a Defense Department contracted agency near Los Angeles.  Always a lover of cats, she finally left the agency and opened her own pet-sitting and care business.

     She sold her business and moved into the beautiful mountains outside Asheville, NC.  After a few years she was joined by her high school sweetheart and classmate Terry England.  They were married in Indianapolis, IN, on December 26, 2014.

     She is survived by her son, David Bergham; her brother, Robert (Deanna) Duncan; her nieces, Stephanie (Elmer) Caceres, and Jennifer (Scott) Bill; her step-children, Shelley (David) Alpers of Danville, Russell (Cindy) England of Ambia, IN, Richard (Marcy) England of Oakwood, & Mishelle (Chad) McGraw of Danville and several cousins.  Her husband followed her in death on May 9, 2020.

     Janice will be laid to rest at the Columbarium in Georgetown Cemetery on May 18, 2020.  Her care was entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E.
