Jacqueline Ann Hoshauer

Jacqueline Ann Hoshauer, 77, of Danville, passed away on October 31, 2019 at Carle Hospital in Urbana. 

She was born in Danville, IL on March 4, 1942 to Frank and Ann (Kopacz) Haussy. 

She married Pete Maskel who preceded her in death then later Charles “Gene” Hoshauer who also preceded her in death.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 spouses, granddaughter, great-granddaughter and one niece. 

Jacqueline is survived by children; Mary (Matt) Szymonik, Kathleen (Doug) McCartney, Phil (Pat) Hoshauer, Mike (Teresa) Hoshauer, Cindy (Leon Heard) Hoshauer, Sandy (Mark Lehman) Edwards; sister, Sandra Sollars; several nieces and great nephews; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and special friend, Bob Jones. 

She worked at KIK as a line operator for many years.  She enjoyed cross-stitching, attending grandkids sporting events, dancing, singing karaoke, playing euchre and bingo.  She was a member of the Hooton Church of Christ and the YMCA Silver Sneakers. 

A celebration of Jacqueline’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, IL 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834. Visitation will be held from 9-11 AM Tuesday prior to the service.
