Florence Virginia (Remey) Stulgin

     Florence Virginia Stulgin, 93, of Danville, passed away at 12:15am, Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Danville.  She was born on June 12, 1928, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Henry and Jennie {Sorkness} Remey.  She was united in marriage to Joseph Stulgin on April 16, 1949, until his passing on February 20, 2019.
     Those who survive her include her sons, Pat Stulgin & Joe (Darlene) Stulgin; her grandchildren, Levi, Rachel, Cody, & Travis.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, infant son, Jeffrey, and her sister and brother.
     Florence was a librarian, but a wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed traveling with Joe and they visited many places together, including Alaska & Hawaii.  In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and doing crafts.  Florence loved her family and will be dearly missed.
     A celebration of Florence’s life will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St, Westville, Illinois 61883.  As were her wishes, she will be accorded cremation rites and later buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Danville.  Memorial donations may be given in her name to donor’s choice of charity.  Please join her family in sharing memories through her Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
