Flora Estella Richardson

Mahomet – Flora Estella Richardson, 86, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at her home in Mahomet, IL.  She was born on December 28, 1934 in Villagrán, Mexico to Salomon and Enriqueta Mercado.  Flora married Clois E Richardson on December 26, 1960 in Chicago, IL. 

Flora is survived by her husband; children Patricia Lane, Carol Wiese, and Gayle Zahnle; grandchildren Carly, Ryan, Nicholas, Nina, Xavier, Zachary, and Gabriel; great-grandchildren Robin, River, Emerson, and Archer; siblings Salomon, Emma, Victor, Andrea, Bertha, Sylvia, Marina, Enrique, Olegario, and Roberto.  She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Olga; and brothers Mario and Rolando. 

Flora enjoyed cooking, traveling, and biking. 

Visitation will be held from 10am-12pm on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Mahomet, Illinois 1102 Churchill Rd.
