Donna Marie Oaks

 Donna Marie Oaks, 67, of Georgetown passed away at her home on Sunday November 12, 2023. Donna was born in Danville, IL on March 28, 1956, daughter of Donald and Helen (Kennedy) Davis.

Donna is survived by her sons, Jason (Melanie), James (Keisha), and Joshua (Kristen), and their father, Spencer McCool, her grandchildren, Cole, Daniel, Jacob, and Shelbey, her sister Denise Ellis, and her niece Casey (Guy) Spencer.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents.

Donna was a member of the Elwood Church in Georgetown. She liked playing Bingo, crocheting and reading. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her animals.

A Celebration of life will be held on Friday November 17, 2023, at 11 am with an hour visitation prior to the funeral at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E West street with Pastor Garry Hendrick officiating. Burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery in Ridge Farm. A visitation will be held on Thursday November 16, 2023 4-7 at the funeral home.
