Christina Froman Obituary

Danville – Christina M. Froman, 65, of Danville passed away at 3:40 PM on June 19, 2020 at her home in Danville.

Christina was born on December 2, 1954 the daughter of Robert and Joyce (Hardesty) Lawlyes in Danville. She married Gregg Froman on September 15, 1979 in Danville and he survives.

Survivors include her husband, Gregg Froman of Danville, IL, three sons, Joshua Froman of Danville, IL Jacob Froman, Champaign, IL and Joel Froman of Danville, IL one daughter, Rachel (Ryan) Bushue Normal, IL, her mother Joyce Lawlyes of Danville, IL two sisters, Bobbi-Jo (Ruhan) Ozgen of Shorewood, IL and Gina (Larry) Harper of Bismarck, IL, as well as five grandchildren, a close niece, Mindy Roellgen of Danville, IL and several other nieces and nephews.

Christina is preceded in death by her father, Robert Lawlyes and one sister, Deana Hall.

Christina is a member of Danville Alliance Church and enjoyed collecting miniature porcelain dogs, shopping, loved her many dogs and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Most of all, Christina loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

A Private Family Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 26, 2020 at 5:00 PM at Danville Alliance Church, 2509 N. Bowman Ave Danville, IL. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements. As per Christina’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Danville Alliance Church or the Danville Humane Society.
