Cathy D. (Dill) Morris

     Cathy D. Morris, 65, of Ridge Farm, passed away on a beautiful, sunny Easter day at 9:28am, Sunday, April 4, 2021, at OSF Sacred Heath Medical Center, Danville.  She was born on August 6, 1955, in Danville, the daughter of JC Dill and Martha {Brigman} Dill, both deceased.  She was united in marriage to Larry Morris on May 24, 1988.  He will miss her dearly.
     Cathy is also survived by her children, Tony (Michele) Collom and grandson, Drew Collom, of Gardner, IL, Larry Morris Jr. of Danville, Dawn Morris of Danville, & Ken (Terri) Morris of Salt Lake City, UT; her 15 grandchildren; and her siblings, JC (Kathy) Dill Jr. of Liberty, NC, Debra Dill of Kokomo, IN, & Cheri Colbert of Indiana.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, James, Jerry, Joe, Shirley, & Sue.
     Cathy was a most dedicated and caring Nurse for more than 40 years.  She worked at the VA Hospital in Danville for her entire career.  She was known as a loving person who poured her heart into caring for her patients.  She was selfless and would do her best to help others around her and there was nothing she would not do to help a person in need.  She loved her family and cherished each of them and she always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
     As per her wishes, Cathy will be accorded cremation rites with assistance of Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E.
