Carol Zimmerman Obituary
Carol A. Zimmerman, 75, of Westville passed away on August 22, 2022, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, IL. Carol was born December 1, 1946, in Danville, Illinois to Ben & Gladys Farnsworth.
Survivors include: two daughters: Kristi Broeker of Catlin and Krystal Zimmerman of Westville; two sons: David Zimmerman of Westville and Lucas (Tyler) Zimmerman of Tilton; two brothers: Lewis (Judy) Farnsworth of Danville; William (Kathy) Farnsworth of Tampa, FL; two sisters: Donna Johnson of Charlotte, NC and Cathy Fink of Danville; four grandchildren: Chelsea Johnson of Nashville, TN; Kotah Broeker of Catlin; Grant Pate of Westville and Justice Alexander of Danville; one great grandchild: Oaklee. Carol is preceded in death by her parents, husband William (Bill) Zimmerman, her brother David Farnsworth and her grandson.
Carol retired as a school bus driver in Westville. Carol was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church. She enjoyed reading books; puzzles; working in the yard and her pets as well being an avid Chicago Cubs baseball fan.

A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883 with Kevin Cox officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday prior to her service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Humane Society of Danville in Carol’s name.
