Carlos Wade

Carlos Wade 70, of Oakwood, Illinois passed away on November 22, 2020 at home in Oakwood, Illinois. He was born on October 23, 1950 in Whitesville, Kentucky the son of Ralph and Dortha (Beasley) Wade.

Carlos worked as a heavy equipment operator and mechanic for Case Power and Equipment in Danville and retired from Schomburg and Schomburg Construction after several years of  self-employment. He enjoyed fishing, working in his garden, hunting, fishing trips with friends and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his mother Dortha, siblings, Tony (Carlia) Wade, Regina Knight, Debbie (Paul) Drew, Robert Wade, children, James (Tracy) Wade, Lori (Darin) Ware, Travis Wade, Dixie Smith, grandchildren, Christopher, Hunter, Madison, Cody, Collin, Jenna, Cassidy, TJ, Erin, Tyler, great grandchildren, Brantley and Riverlyn, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph and brother-in-law Harvey Knight.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, services for Carlos will be private. Gestures of sympathy may be delivered to Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Oakwood, Illinois 105 E. South Main Street Oakwood, Illinois 61858 for his Memorial Service on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10am
