Bonnie L. Vance

Danville – Bonnie Vance, 69, of Danville passed away on July 11, 2021 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana, IL.

Bonnie was born on July 6, 1952 the daughter of Guy and Ethel Mae (Galyen) Watson in Danville, IL. She was formerly married to Charles Edward Swan, II.

Survivors include her two daughters, Rozella Swan Ricketts of Danville, IL and Amanda Swan of Danville, IL, five grandchildren, Candus N. Lile, Tiffany R. M. Swan, Dustin C. Swan, Lexis Boswell, and Hope Leppard, one great grandchild, Kyle Johnson, Jr as well as many special friends including, but not limited to, Jeannie Ritter, Janet Morgan, Terry Hume, Jim Oliphant and Nancy and Keith Gower.

Bonnie was a member of CrossRoads Christian Church and retired from Wal-Mart in 2019 after 23 years of service in the Photography Department. She enjoyed spending her free time dancing, listening to live music, playing B.I.N.G.O, and collecting angels but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be at held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Miles Clark will officiate. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM Tuesday July 27, 2021 at the funeral home.
