Arnold Pratt Obituary

Arnold Ray Pratt, 65, of Danville, IL passed away at 12:34 PM on September 18, 2022 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville, IL.

Arnold was born on May 2, 1957 the son of Jack and Shirley (Arnold) Pratt. He married Pauline (Shepherd) Dittmar on May 26, 1984 in Danville, IL and she survives.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Pratt of Danville, IL, four children, Tim (Jennifer) Dittmar of Alvin, IL, Anthony Dittmar of San Antonio, TX, Ben (Holly) Dittmar of Danville, IL and Amanda (Dennis) Pratt Miller of Ridge Farm, IL, eight grandchildren, Nathan, Connor, Jackson, Katie, Tyson, Clay, Ave and Jasper, one sister, Karen Pratt of Danville, IL as well as a niece, Aren and nephew, Clark.

Arnold is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert “Bob” and Ellen Arnold, maternal grandparents, and his parents, Jack and Shirley Pratt.

Arnold worked 41 years in Environmental Services for OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center. He enjoyed spending his free time playing the drums, performing as a lead singer and an Elvis impersonator. Arnold also enjoyed fishing, playing cards, especially Poker, and attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. He loved his wife and family dearly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Raymie Gordon will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 from 5-7:00 PM at the funeral home.
