Anna Hutson

Danville – Anna Hutson, 81, of Danville passed away at 5:24 PM on December 31, 2020 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman, IL.

Anna was born on February 7, 1939 the daughter of Melvin and Evelyn (Purscell) Flory in Archbold, OH. She married Richard Hutson on March 6, 1971 in Archbold, OH and he preceded her in death on December 6, 2020.

Survivors include niece and nephew, Brenda (Owen) Henderson of Kingman, IN and Mark (Melinda) Garfield of Danville, IL, two brothers, Robert (Betty) Flory and Charles (Juanita) Flory both of Ohio along with several great and great great-nieces and nephews.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard and four brothers, Leroy, George, Howard and Joseph.

Anna was a member of Danville Alliance Church and worked as a home health aide in the Danville area for several years before retirement.  Anna enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping, reading, audio books, word search puzzles, and traveling to visit out of state family and friends.

Anna’s family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living for the wonderful care they gave Anna during her time there.

A private family service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 on Monday, January 4, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Ken Cameron will officiate. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
