Norm's primary interests other than reading Louis L'amour books, were whatever activities he could do with friends and family such as playing cards, camping, fishing, hiking, building the perfect bonfire, chopping wood and traveling to places of beauty such as Alaska, Ireland, Yellowstone and the Smoky Mountains. Most of all he loved to simply sit and soak up the beauty of his own backyard. Among the many blessings of his life he above all cherished family and friends and was true to his belief that "deeds not words" matter most.
