GEORGETOWN- Norman R. Trimble, 74 of Georgetown passed away at 3:56pm on Tuesday, January, 17, 2006 at Provena USMC of Danville. Mr. Trimble was born on June 24, 1931, in Danville, the son of Mathew and Blanch (Backman) Trimble. Both his parents precede him in death. On February 15, 1964, Norman married Bonnie Holycross in Danville. She survives and resides in Georgetown. Surviving family members include his wife Bonnie of 41 years, his three sons; Matthew (Teresa) Trimble of Georgetown, Joseph (Carrie) Trimble of Georgetown, and Eric Trimble of Georgetown. His daughters; Betsy ( Kevin) Crawley of Brandon, Fl, Julie (Danny) Crouch of Danville, Melissa (Keith) Enos of Danville, Ruth (Eugene) Landers of Danville, Georgia (Troy) Eversol of Georgetown, Lori ( Derek) Raye of Gilbertsville, KY; as well as Cathy Steele, Vicki Trimble, Sherry Sawtelle, and Pam Cartwright, all of Danville. Norman will also be missed by his two sisters; Helen Boyer of Danville and Patty Martin of Danville, as well as his several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his two brothers, four sisters, his beloved son, Norman, his two nephews; Fred Boyer and Frankie Styer, his niece; Deana Styer and his special granddaughter; Misty Trimble. Norman was employed as a roofer for several years until retirement. He enjoyed fishing, was an avid Chicago Cubs Fan and lived for his family. Per his wishes, Norman will be cremated and a memorial service will be held in his honor at the Knights of Columbus at 310 Bryan Ave, in Danville from 2-4pm on Friday, Jan 20, 2006. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice of charity. Arrangements entrusted to Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown.
