Norman G Mullins

Norman G. Mullins, 84, of Rossville, formerly of Georgetown, passed away at 3:30am, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Watseka Health Care, Watseka, IL. He was born on October 10, 1932, in Humrick, IL, the son of Edgar and Effie Annie {Trosper} Mullins. He was united in marriage to Beverly M. Rudolph on July 4, 1959, in Danville, IL, until her passing on August 1, 1999. He will be missed by: his daughter, Robin (Tom) Elliott of Rossville; his son, Ron (Desiree) Mullins of Waco, TX; his five grandchildren; his five great grandchildren; and his sister, Joan Scott. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his son, Rodney; his two brothers, Wilbert and his two sisters, Catheryn & Margie. Norman worked for General Motors Tilton Foundry and after 25 years, retired in May of 1988. He enjoyed going fishing & camping, and playing Bingo & computer games. Norman lived with his daughter, Robin, her husband, Tom, and granddaughter, Joy Clark, whom he cherished. A celebration of Norman's life will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, July 14, 2017, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West Street, Georgetown, with Richard Huber officiating. Visitation will be held 10:00am to Noon on Friday prior to his service at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in McKendree Cemetery.
