Norma Louise Wood

Champaign - Norma Louise Wood, 80, passed away on Sunday March 18, 2018 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana, IL. She was born on June 14, 1937 in Weldon, IL to Bill "Leo" and Leona (Thoms) Followell. Norma is survived by her children Deni (Roxann) Davis, Joseph (Tammy) Davis, and Anthony (Chris) Davis; grandchildren Amy, Audra, Adam, Chantel (Richie), Bobby, Kristina, John (Whitney), Rudy (Chasity), Andrea, Josh, Amber, Corbin, Brantley, Jack, Conner, Kaylee, Taht, Destinee, Michael, Kaitlyn, Xander, Xayden, Lexi Jo, Carter, Eli, Kaiya, and Jessica; 16 great-grandchildren including 4 she lived with; Sydney, Anden, Liam, and Eythan; sister Lois (Jerrell) Vannoy; and pet cat Cachi. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Robyn L. Guffey; son Robert L. Davis; granddaughter Michelle A. Coad; brothers Donald and Howard Followell; and one infant brother Ronald. Norma enjoyed drinking coffee, smoking, gossiping, crocheting, playing with Eythan, doing crossword puzzles, and watching CSI, Law & Order, and Criminal Minds. A memorial celebration will be held in Norma's honor at a later date. Cremation rites have been allotted to Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N Neil St. Champaign, IL 61820.
