Norma L. Stevens

Norma L. Stevens, 80, of Tilton, passed away at 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. She was born May 28, 1924 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Albert and Anna (Smith) Harvey. She married Robert L. Stevens on April 24, 1946 in Danville, Illinois. Robert preceded her in death on February 24, 1998. She is survived by: 2 Sons - Michael (Jan) Stevens of Western Springs, IL and Mark (Deborah) Stevens of Arlington, Texas; 3 Grandchildren - Josh, Michael and Anna Stevens; and 1Brother- Jack (Helen) Harvey of Rantoul. Her parents, 2 Brothers and 3 Sisters preceded her in death. Norma was a 1942 graduate of Danville High School. She served in the US Navy "Waves" from 1944-1946 and was stationed in San Diego, CA. She was a proud member of the United Church of Tilton and a member of the Vermilion Manor Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening and yard work.
